Statement of Purpose

We are a General Practice establishment with 4 doctors (2 female and 2 male). Our aims and objectives are;

  • To provide the highest standard of medical care utilising evidence based medical standards as laid down by NICE.
  • To show our patients courtesy and respect at all times irrespective of ethnic origin, religious belief, personal attribute or the nature of the health problem.
  • To involve our patients in decisions regarding their treatment and to survey our patients regularly for feedback on quality of services provided and satisfaction.
  • To promote good health and well being to our patients by providing a high quality, personal and friendly medical service for all and to care for them as we would wish to be cared for.  We value a traditional family based general practice and continuity of care.
  • To involve allied healthcare professionals in the care of our patients where it is in their best interests.
  • To focus on prevention of disease by promoting health and wellbeing and offering care and advice to all of our patients.
  • To ensure that all members of the team have the right skills and training to carry out their duties competently and to express their respect for the privacy and dignity of all patients by behaving in an empathetic and sensitive manner whilst trying to accomodate the needs of the patient.
  • We have an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) which meets quarterly and gives feedback on how well we are meeting our objectives.
  • To provide our patients and staff with an environment which is safe, friendly and to have a zero tolerance of all forms of abuse.
  • This practice is a participant in a local extended access service, which is delivered from a separate registered location. We are committed to providing access to pre-booked appointments outside core hours to the benefit of our registered patient list. Detailed and up-to-date information regarding how to access this service is available online, and in waiting rooms.
