If you’re planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
In the UK, the NHS routine immunisation (vaccination) schedule protects you against a number of diseases, but does not cover all of the infectious diseases found overseas. Some vaccines need to be given well in advance to allow your body to develop immunity. So it is recommended to receive a vaccine 6 – 8 weeks before travelling.
If you are travelling abroad please complete our form so one of our nursing team can check to see if you require vaccination/s for your place of travel. One of our nursing team will then be in touch if you do need an appointment and book accordingly
PLEASE NOTE: If you fail to give us 48 hours notice to cancel the appointment you will not be offered another appointment at the surgery for travel within a 12 month period
