If you’re planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
In the UK, the childhood vaccination programme protects you against a number of diseases, but doesn’t cover most of the infectious diseases found overseas.

At the surgery we ask that our patients complete a Travel Form (see links below) and make a travel appointment with one of our nurses. The form must be returned prior to any appointment being arranged so that any vaccines can be ordered in time for an appointment. It is Practice Policy that if you fail to attend a booked travel appointment you will not be offered another. Please note, not all vaccinations are available free on the NHS, even if they’re recommended for travel to a certain area.
